Doug came to faith as a freshman in college. During college, Doug and Pam met and were involved in the leadership of a student-led ministry. It was a time of spiritual growth and the joy of helping others to know Jesus Christ.
After college, Doug and Pam were married and moved to Colorado where Doug joined the staff of a new church, Cherry Hills Community Church, and attended Denver Seminary, eventually graduating with an Masters of Divinity.
After six years at the church, Doug and Pam served in leadership at Doulos Ministries, in, Missouri and Kansas. In Lawrence, Kansas, they joined the staff of the Navigators, serving on Collegiate staff and then in city ministries. Doug served 13 years as the National Director and President of the U.S. Navigators.
Doug longs to lead as David in Psalm 78:72, “And David shepherded them with integrity of heart, with skillful hands he led them.”
Pam serves as a soul care mentor and coach, coming alongside women in various walks of life, sometimes in times of vulnerability. She aims to honor God by helping them flourish and grow in Christ and in their ministries.
Doug and Pam have enjoyed partnering together in ministry. They long to see the Gospel of Jesus spread through everyday people who make disciples in the normal pathways of life—where they live, work and play.
They have three adult children, two sons-in-laws, and eight grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with others as they build relationships and see God transform lives. Doug loves to fly fish and mountain bike and they enjoy reading, the outdoors, spending time with their family, and being with friends.
